Today there is new, revolutionary knowledge on the biological mechanisms active in the skin. As is well known, the skin reflects all the morphological functional modifications taking place within the organism; modifications resulting from the passage of time, the effect of outside agents or due to still other factors. 
The most common manifestations of this skin aging is expression lines and a loss of elasticity, a loss of radiance. Skin aging is certainly a problem and although today it is considered inevitable, the sciences of medicine, esthetics and chemistry are presently involved in a multidisciplinary effort to find the so called "fountain of youth". The path to this end is certainly difficult and progress is often made through testing, and often times these come out poorly. The only strategy to follow is to precisely identify the causes of aging, always keeping in mind that time will be the judge.
